The pets are waiting for their 'peoples' to come home from work
and school. The sidewalk has chalked in hopscotch and tic-tac-toe games. In
the flowerbed of the left side row house, there's a sign that reads "Garden
Tours 5 Cents".
Spring Street hung in the Art/Quilt Magazine booth at IAQ in Houston November 2000. I created it on our sailboat Fandango while we cruised the Chesapeake that October. (Check out the photo of me quilting on board on my resume page.) One of the reasons I tend to work in small dimensions is that my pieces must be very portable since we travel by boat often. |
